Ellipsoid, smooth, amyloid.
Print: White
Basida: Clavate 4 sterigmate.
Cheilocystidia: Abundant, clavate/subclavate/cylindric.
Pleurocysidia: Not found.
Pileipellis: A trichoderm.
Clamp connections: Present on all aspects
KOH: Negative to olive green.
Odor and taste: Non distinctive.
Habitat: Growing off a decayed stump( suspected Populus sp.) in a conifer, hardwood mixed forest.

6 fruiting bodies growing in a mulch bed. Stems rooting. Sclerotia, if present, were not collected. Partial veil present, leaving a thin purple-brown ring on 1 fruiting body. Chrysocystidia present. Basidia 4-sterigmate. Basidia measurements from Piximetre: 28.1 – 32.45 (32.5) × (6.9) 6.91 – 7.9 µm, Q = 3.8 – 4.3; N = 4, Me = 30 × 7.5 µm; Qe = 4

Individual basidia: 32.45 × 7.85 µm, 29.80 × 7.90 µm, 29.85 × 6.91 µm, 28.07 × 7.17 µm

Spores thick-walled with a prominent apical pore. Spore measurements from Piximetre: (8.1) 8.4 – 10.3 (10.7) × (4.8) 5 – 5.8 (5.9) µm, Q = (1.4) 1.6 – 1.9 (2); N = 30, Me = 9.4 × 5.4 µm; Qe = 1.7
