I found six plants on the top section of Platteklip Gorge. They were far bigger than the many smaller plants I've found growing on cliff faces on TM.
One plant was growing so near the path that hikers were brushing past it.

Update: Apologies, I went back in Nov 2015 and found flowers: this is a daisy.

Damp areas; rocky slopes. Stems grooved, leafy throughout. Unfortunately no basal leaf pics. Stem leaves stalkless, margins toothed and ending in uniform interval bristles. Flowers pale green-white with unequal bracts. Three unevaluated varieties.

Well past flowering but a stunning silver shimmer in the landscape.
Likes deep sands, moving onto dune plumes, which is probably how it crossed from the Sandveld into the Breede Valley.
