Apparently Fraxinus pennsylvanica is often on stream banks like this, but I think the leaflet shape looks more like F. americana.

Another little one. This time on the side of a rock outcrop.

One of the things that makes me think it's Nyssa is the horizontality of the branches (apparently persimmon isn't like that); also the undersides of the leaves are light green rather than white.

I thought this was a fungus at first. It doesn't seem like the flowers have bloomed yet

Super not sure about this - maybe this is just a young version of another pine?
