A Bolete looking mushroom observed in a mossy area of a coniferous logging forest south of Union, WA. Cap convex, yellowish orange, looks somewhat like a pancake. Gills off-white to tan, adnate and spongey. Stalk yellowish tan to beige and reticulate closer to the base.
Found growing in a small group with doug firs, snags, hemlocks, huckleberry, cedar, Usnea spp. Substrate: conifer wood (downed)
