A doe and a buck

Earlier this year there was a family of mourning doves living near my house. They were so adorable!! I haven’t seen them in a bit, I hope they were ok. I think there was about six of them?

You never get tired of looking at or photographing this quite common but irresistibly gorgeous warbler that adds color to nature reserves throughout southern Ontario.

It stood on its hind legs to reach some leaves, then jumped. It slipped on the wet grass and fell. It sat for a minute before walking to the edge of the field.
