This is the anterior end of my previously pictured snapping turtle.
It's being debated between common snapper and an alligator snapper.
I hope this picture helps settle that debate. To me, the shell looks too jagged for a common snapper, but I don't know anymore.

Believed to be welteri due to larval spot pattern and dark-tipped toes.
