The images aren't as good as I wanted. However, this was clearly a woodpecker from what I observed. The Bird has a white underbelly, and is black with white spots as well. The image was taken standing near the tree it was on. From what I could tell the bird was about five inches in length, and pecked at the tree for the entirety of the time I observed (two to three minutes).
Small-mid sized bird, approximately 7 inches in length; seen sitting in a tree in the open, about 80 yards from a moderately dense wooded area; seen alone and rarely seen in the area.

This cardinal was found outside of Erie hall in a pine tree. It was about 5-6 inches large. It was flying in and out of the pine tree with smaller brown birds very quickly almost as if they were fighting.
Sitting inside a nest in a tall bush. From the window above the bird can be seen sitting on several blue eggs. The bird has an orange chest and gray back.

This species was found by the compost pile behind the softball field among a flock of other birds and insects. It was circling the compost overhead. It was misting outside and there wasn’t much wind.
Flowering plant with a woody stem. About 10 to 15 cm in height. Group of three stems each with pinkish purple flowers blooming. This plant was growing in a heavily weeded area in a forest, however tree density was low. There were other plants of the same species in this patch as well.
This organism is black and white colored moth (not a butterfly since wings were spread while resting). The organisms wing span was 3-5 cm long. This moth was on a tree trunk, did not see any other moths in the area.
This bird was seen in the grass by the parking lot near Erie hall. It was hopping around searching for food frantically. This was the only kind of this bird that was around in the area. It is hard to tell in the image but it has a little bit of a blue shine to some of its feathers. This bird was about 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide.
Seen in the lawn of a Geneseo yard. There were 5-6 of the same type of bird grazing in the grasses. If I got too close they would hop or fly away.
Seen throughout patch in forest, vining entirety of various trees in surrounding. Average estimate leaf size around 3 cm in diameter.
Blue shell, ~2cm, can fly
Caught a few views behind and just to the side of this robin in the SUNY Geneseo arboretum. They were hopping around in between these photos, pecking at the ground. They flew to a nearby tree as I approached and made a few high pitched calls/chirps. There are plenty of robins in the area.
A big ant crawling on the sidewalk. There were a bunch of tiny other ants around it, and this one was significantly bigger than the rest. Don’t know if that means it was the queen or if it’s just a bigger species
Bird flying and perching on tree branches. Did not make a sound. Orangish-red upper stomach with grayish body. Black head.
About an inch long bug found under dead tree. Looks like it might have some wing developing, black and various shades of brown. Has antennas
