This red fruit was of interest to Northern Mockingbirds at the state park. Observed a Northern Mockingbird pointedly move against a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker who got too close to the fruiting bush. The Yellow-bellied Sapsucker quickly left not wanting to fight over the fruit with the Northern Mockingbird.
