Expecting another pulse of Chinook Salmon to move up area streams after the rains predicted for Saturday and Wednesday, South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition will be holding another monitoring training walk Saturday December 28, 2019. With the rains over last weekend, Chinook Salmon have finally moved up to spawning grounds on the Guadalupe River and Los Gatos Creek. They should continue to move up over the next month. If you are in the area and would like to participate in mapping the spawning activities, South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition volunteers go out daily. Our next training walk is December 14, 2019.
