I know I haven't been posting as many things lately, but I'm really happy today because I found two types of spider by my school. One of them I knew, it was a daddy long-legs, while the other one I had no idea about. I hope someone leaves me an ID soon...

I've been assigned a report by my science teacher to do a research report on any animal I choose. I chose the Common Vampire Bat simply because its pretty cool.

I just noticed that almost all species in San Francisco, be it White-crowned Sparrow, or Garden Snail, can be found all over San Francisco! It makes me wonder if I should even bother putting the exact location of the animal, or just put SF.

I was just told that along with the picture of the actual flower, I should take a picture of the plant. The leaves and shrubbery would help to figure out what the hack the plant is. I'll still take my HD Super Macro photos of course!

Have you ever been trying to take a picture of an animal when it suddenly flies, jumps, or runs away? Well I have and it sucks! I spent nearly 20 minutes trying to take a picture of white-crested sparrow! They are everywhere in my neighborhood and I haven't taken a single decent photo of one! I really need a better camera.

I've become very skilled at taking pictures of flowers using the Super Macro setting on my digital camera. Just take a look at my observations to see what I mean! I think that even my Grandad would be proud, and he takes pictures of plants and animals so much that I'm surprised he doesn't do it professionally! Maybe I can get him to join iNaturalist...

Today is my first day of using iNaturalist and I've already gone out and made some observations. I think that this will be really fun to use, especially if I happen to go on a trip and get some cool pictures.
