Mushrooms that have been sighted in Arizona (research grade observations) but lack or have few supporting DNA sequences or vouchered specimens in an herbarium. This list is intended to serve as a personal "bounty board" of mushrooms that need to be collected, vouchered, and sequenced in order to further our collective understanding of Arizona's diverse mycoflora and their importance in our unique ecosystems. Each entry is accompanied by the known habitat and the season(s) when the species was previously spotted.
