Photos / SoundsWhatHare Orchid (Leporella fimbriata)Observershells_nature_picsDescriptionThese have only emerged, in limited numbers, last checked was three weeks ago. More leaves are starting to appear. The leaves are pale with no discernible bands of colour. The flower is a pale yellow green and with a faintly coloured labellum. Found in the same location as last year's lutea coloured Hare Orchids. Very dry start to the year and an early dry finish at the end of 2023. |

Very healthy & bigger than my size 91/2 shoe - it curled up a bit because it was aware of me. Basically trapped & will probably become roadkill because of housing/subdivisions |
