I am not 100% sure on what kind of beetle this is. I caught it in a room we keep dark most of the time, For the species I clicked on the one the site gave to me. It was dead prior for a few weeks I believe.

I have reported that I have seen a number of (pillbugs) in my basement however each of them have been found in different rooms that are each on different corners of my basement. So although they are apart of the same species they all preferred a different location,

I saw this beetle in a building in the middle of the rocky/ sandy cliffs mountains. Unfortunately, I couldn’t observe much about the behavior because it was dead when I found it. The weather was sunny and approximately 78 degrees.
