Description

Found 4-point shed antler and dead head 3x3 buck both on same day while hiking through an open area in EDH back in 2002. This EDH area was developed around 2006, and is now mostly all homes, but with still some woodland areas. Second photo taken in October 2001 in same area is I believe the 4x4 buck that shed the left side 4-point antler in the first photo. I spent about an hour looking for the matching right side shed antler but was unable to locate it. However, that is when I found the dead head 3x3 buck skull. This area is close to Green Valley Road, so I think that it is likely that the 3x3 buck was mortally hurt in a vehicle collision, and died about 50 yards from the road.
