Observer

Date

August 2017

Description

Behavior before this picture was taken:

--Appeared to be chilling (picture #3) on a trunk of an old rose bush.

--neck behaved like a turtle while head appeared to go completely flat like a cobra.

--antennas pointed out directly in front of bigger eyes

-she grabbed the grasshopper so quickly (see photo 4)

-- First, antennas ate. Then, bit into the skull (photo 6 & 7)

watched it eat antennas first; then, began to take long tongue (?) and munch on top of skull; but, I had to go to eclipse watching destination. Wow, what a day!
