Measurements on 14 June 2021: Healthy, but two branches broken off, very heavy branches, hanging down

Male inflorescence dangling and completely deflexed.
Elongated ligule sheathes
Graminoles on female spikelets long, spreading at base
Awn-structures longer and more wiry closer to terminal point of spikes
Scattered, plumose hairs on outer ligules close to base
Spikelet pedicels joined at single node inside ligule, 3-5 per internode
Female flowers of this specimen were in flower (early August)
Stigmatic column shorter, branching with diffuse hairs
Seed oval and slightly concave
