Description

Looks like a Nomada cuckoo bee. N. hirtipes is the closest looking one that I could locate, with yellow spots on the abdomen, on trailing blackberry flowers. Andrena bees were active in the area also.

Looks like a tiny Andrena bee, about 5 mm long, with fuzzy facial fovea, tufts of hair by the hind trochanter, on Vaccinium (evergreen huckleberry). A Nomada cuckoo bee was on the same plant a few days earlier, and is a cleptoparasite of Andrena bees.
