Several animals sighted, in cryptic mode. Hideously thick Hinksia algal bloom smothering much of the reef and adjacent seagrass and macro algae habitat.

Description

One of several sighted near Whyalla rockwalls. Further evidence of cuttlefish seen in the form of expelled ink, drifting in the water. Likely cause of ink was a pod of 10 long-nosed fur seals that were hanging out towards the southern end of the rockwalls. The only cuttlefish sighted were under cover, in cryptic mode, or dead (one was head only, the othe dead animal was floating and complete).
