Description

An oyster of some description, unlikely to be Pacific oyster, owing to recent devastating effect of POMs in the area. Also note the little clear/smokey white anemones/worms/hydroids present at the bottom centre of the frame. Growing on a jetty pile, in a deeper, sheltered section of that pile community.

Description

Many seen, growing on jetty structure. Individuals were often covered by other colonial invertebrates, with just their striped apertures visibly recognisable.
