Cool! Always wanted to find one of the green Nephrotoma, but thought I lived outside the range.
Differentiating macrocera from tenuis has been a challenge for me. Keys and diagnoses use brown (macrocera) vs yellow (tenuis) basal flagellomeres. But overall antennal length in the descriptions is drastic and obvious, with macrocera having antennae 60–70% of the body length, and tenuis only 22–24% of body length. My specimens have yellow basal flagellomeres, but very long antennae. Confusing. Regardless, I suspect these are macrocera based on measurements and known range.
