S. navigator may be more likely found at higher elevations and swifter streams, therefore, leaning toward S. bendirii.
Dozens of these caddis casings found on floating boardwalk that passes through swampy wooded edge of a lake. Casings were clustered in individual areas suggesting collection/placement.
