I am a wildlife biologist studying the behavior and ecology of rattlesnakes, snakebite epidemiology, and how rattlesnake behavior affects encounters with people. I am particularly interested in Crotalus scutulatus (Mohave Rattlesnake), especially it's diet, reproductive habits, its odd distribution on opposite sides of the Colorado River, and variation in venom components across its range. I enjoy an appointment as adjunct faculty researcher at San Diego State University and live in Tucson, AZ. You can find a blog about my four-year (2014-17) radiotelemetry study of Northern Pacific Rattlesnakes at www.EYNCRattlesnakes.com.
