Hello! My name is Abbad Diraneyya, a Wikipedian, writer, translator, open content enthusiast and a wildlife lover. I work for the Wikimedia Foundation (brand owner of Wikipedia) in Knowledge and Information management. I have many interests in multiple fields, I like the knowledge of anything new from any kind. I have a deep interest in the open content; I have been an active participant of Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, for about a decade, with over a thousand articles and 25,000 edits contributed by myself. I am also the current Chief Coordinator of Wikimedia Levant, a free knowledge NGO, and a previous Community Advocate for Arabic language on Khan Academy as well as the Project Manager of Scientific Saudi.

I have loved exploring nature since my childhood, although couldn't find any people around me who shared this interest with me; now, I'm super happy to find this place where there're so many other people from around the world with similar interests. I'm trying to submit here as much as I can of the observations that I regularly make to nature in my home country.
