We followed our dreams to live in the Piney Woods of East Texas, which soon lead to the purchase of a 50 acre forest in 2016. Little did we know, the desire to live a more quiet life in the country surrounded by the "green light" of the forest would spark such a passion for learning and the creation of a legacy to future generations. The property is now a Certified Family Forest with a Management Plan in place to preserve and protect the native flora, fauna and streams, while producing quality timber harvest.
