I am a nature lover who loves to be outdoors, often with camera in hand - macrophotography is my passion (always hoping for that perfect shot!)

I am a PennState Master Gardener and Master Watershed Steward through which I learn and help teach about the environment, gardening, insects and all things native.

Over the past several years I have been converting a good portion of my property to native plants and have focused on photographing, indentifying and cataloging the number of native (and not so native) insects who visit my gardens and local area.

I hope to change people's perspectives of insects and their importance to their ecosystems and overall role in the larger picture of life.
