I'm mostly a spontaneous naturalist, documenting things that are interesting or unusual if the opportunity arises.

I have no formal education in biology or ecology, but I try to learn as much as I can from each observation & ID, so that I can work towards improving the quality of my data (and possibly others' if I feel sure enough). Feel free to give me feedback or tips.

My primary camera is a phone with up to 10x optical zoom.

The majority of my location-obscured observations are in Berwick, Victoria, and I'm happy to share exact coordinates for research purposes.
