I developed an interest in arthropods during my ten years at the postal service, where I spent a lot of my time photographing salticids and assassin bugs patrolling the outside of mailboxes. I love iNaturalist because it affords me the opportunity to help the scientists I admire gain insight into the workings of the arthropod world.
