I am an environmental educator based in Asheville, North Carolina. I have a bachelors degree in Environmental Sciences, with a focus on biology and conservation issues.

I am most interested in birds, insects, and wildflowers, and have some practice in identifying these types of organisms. That said, I am not an expert and often make mistakes! Most of my experience in observing and identifying wildlife has been in the temperate forest habitats of the eastern US.
