Hello, everyone!

My name is Bryan, and I got into iNaturalist because I was tired of not knowing what this plant or that insect was, and wanted to learn. Photography is a hobby of mine, and I don't really specialize in any particular category of organism, so I try to shoot anything and everything that's visually interesting: plants, animals, fungi . . .

At the moment, I live in Morgantown, WV. I'm currently mapping the organisms in my end of town, and have found that iNaturalist is a great excuse to actually go exploring, and see what's living all around me. Forests, fields, lakes, creeks . . . there are a lot of unobserved areas on the iNaturalist map, and I'm having fun filling them in.

If anyone wants to team up to investigate an area, feel free to drop me a line. I can show you some of the spots that I feel pretty confident have noteworthy organisms, just waiting to be officially observed. Or if you've already got a spot, I'm fine helping you explore it.

(One caveat - my primary camera is broken and awaiting repairs, so I temporarily can't help much with the small/skittish critters. Ordinarily, I do have a pretty decent telephoto lens.)
