I run a program through West Linn, Oregon, Parks & Rec to connect the community natural areas, processes and resources. We use the beaver as the primary tool in this exploration because beavers are keystone species and the build ecosystems! I have a wide interest in nature. I received my bachelors in environmental science, and I'm working towards a masters. I love water - sailing, swimming, surfing - as well as the study of water, hydrology, watershed dynamics and hydrobiology. I also enjoy making maps, science on the critical zone, endosymbiosis, conservation, urban ecosystems, forest ecology, and many other topics! You can find me hiking around parks with my puppy.
