Having served as an Ecologist and as a Bioregional Planner, I developed an interest in Ecology, ecosystem services and in Invasion Biology. Currently I am involved with controlling Invasive Alien Species (IAS) and am undertaking an exercise on evaluating the impacts of some of the methods used in controlling Invasive aAlien Plants (IAPs) , on natural succession post IAP clearing. This entails surveying plant species recruitment in certain sites where IAP clearing has/is being undertaken. I have great passion for nature and the socioecological balances therein!!!!
