I have always been interested in the natural world. I began bird watching in 2007 and am very familiar with the bird species in the Pacific Northwest. I also enjoy observing and learning about other organisms, such as marine intertidal invertebrates, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. Recently I've been learning to identify more plant species. I've worked at zoos, museums, and nature centers in the PNW.
