I'm a naturalist. Watching wildlife has been a part of my world since I was a kid and could wander into the woods or marsh out in a rural part of Mentor, OH. It was a nature geek's dream place with trees, a creek, a pond, marsh and so many critters. Then as a teenager and now, I spend my time wandering the open desert and like to travel when I can.

I like looking for birds, herps, snails, fungi, flowers, and insects. A favorite is salamanders - all stemming from a book I was gifted a handful of years ago - Salamandria by Joy and Stan Trauth. I highly recommend this fun adventurous story!
