I’m basically a tree-hugger at heart, interested in how organisms interact with their environment. Trained academically as a taxonomist (undergraduate BA in field biology and MS in Entomology (Aphid taxonomy)) I understand both the importance of having a way to identify species (taxonomy); but the goal is to understand each species life history – how it makes a living.
