Grew up in West Texas, Midland TX, San Angelo TX which are arid areas with their own unique beauty. Began birding in Midland by taking a birding class in 1992. Have always been an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed all of nature and natural history. Relocated to Lake Texoma area in 2018 to enjoy trees and water! Joined the Texas Master Naturalist program to learn more about flora and fauna both alive and ancient, and have opportunities to share my love of nature and the importance of protecting it for the it’s future and ours.
