I've been interested in wildlife and plants ever since I can remember. While I have a basic educational framework formed by a B.S. in zoology/biology with specific course work (years ago) in entomology and ornithology, I'd say that over the years I've filled in my knowledge base most significantly by observing what's going on around me and by researching what I see. Over the last decade or so, I've gotten particularly interested in adding native plants to my home landscape and then observing and photographing the wildlife that I see there. From 2007-mid 2015, my home was in south central Kansas; in 2015 we moved to Ft. Walton Beach in the Florida panhandle. Then, in 2019, we moved again; we now reside in the Williamsburg, VA, area.
