I've always loved nature, animals, the ocean, and the grass. Feeling the breeze, the rain and dirt or sand under my feet is what makes me feel whole. Spending as much time exploring everything the earth has to offer up of the natural world since I could walk, I learned early on what animals and mother nature meant to me. Flipping rocks in a stream or logs in the woods to search for "critters" is still something I do as an adult. I love photographing plants, clouds, insects, fungi, animals, trees, etc. I'll always be at home outside and appreciate nature's beauty, and have passed that love on to my children and others children whenever I could. If we want to inhabit this earth we need to care for it and all its life, not just our own.
