I've been an amateur naturalist since I collected all the Audubon field identification guides when I was 10 years old (I really dug those plastic faux-leather covers). Now I have two kids of my own and have recently moved back to Northern California from Brooklyn, and I'm enjoying introducing them to to the natural world around them. I'll be using this app to help us identify plants and animals we find around Sonoma and Marin.
