I am an Arachnologist and Evolutionary Behavioral Ecologist/Animal Behaviorist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition to my formal research and teaching projects, I am passionate about informal science education and am always looking for new ways to engage youth and adults alike in fun arachnid-related activities.

I am currently the President of the Animal Behavior Society (2021-2022) and the Chair of the American Arachnological Society's Outreach and Engagement Committee.
