I live in Suffolk and have been breeding common newts and common frogs for release into my wild garden for around 30 years. The garden is around 1/3 Acre and has one medium sized pond (surface around 2 sq m) and two smaller ones. There are 20m of dead hedge around 1m tall and 3 large wood piles from felled scots pine and silver birch. The main tree in the middle of the garden is a beech, now about 16m tall which I planted 33 years ago. The garden was one of 10 wild gardens open to the public in Woodbridge in May 2023.
