As from a young girl, growing partly up in Namibia and having a brother in law whose whole life was Botany "forced" me to look at nature with different eyes. I am interested in nature as such, everything that moves and flowers, but my main hobby is photography, especially Flowers and bigger animals. I try to identify my objects once I have uploaded the photos on to my PC.
During my 25 years of Tour guiding , in many part of South Africa I learned so much more about flora and fauna and was forever trying to identify that which I did not know. So it became my passion.
I only read in the paper about this challenge, and although I am not a spring chicken any more, I decided this was the right challenge to activate my grey cells. I am so happy to have joined the inaturalist org challenge. A Big thank you goes to GIGI Laidler who helped me
