I’m trans and autistic.

I’m a high school student from Northern Virginia with a strong interest in orthopterans, especially grasshoppers, as well as reptiles and amphibians, with a focus on salamanders. I am very much an amateur photographer. I also love wetland ecology.

I haven’t been posting many observations to iNat lately, but I still do a lot of observing, and have an ever-growing backlog of photos I haven’t yet found the time to post to iNat. I will sometimes post many observations at a time without locations and go and add the locations later.

I mostly identify observations of orthopterans, but I also identify a lot of herp observations, and recently I’ve been identifying (or at least learning to identify) various myriapods, woodlice, ants, beetles, and whatever other taxa catch my interest.

Feel free to tag me to help identify any orthopteran, reptile or amphibian observation. I’ll do the best I can to identify it.
