I am a highschool student enrolled in the Blue Ridge Virtual Governor's School program. I am working on a biodiversity project for my AP Biology class. I enjoy walking outside on warm summer days as well as planting flowers and trees with my family. My favorite flower is a rose because of how diverse their colors are and how sweet they smell. I added the following quote because it expresses how I feel about nature. "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I have not lived."-Thoreau
