Since the 1970s I've been a nature enthusiast. In my teens I started bird watching, joining local groups and doing field trips with the Audubon Society. More recently, deciding I should record the things I see in nature, in 2025 I bought a Nikon P950 with which I am now posting observations from the Blue Ridge Mountains and adjacent Cumberland Valley.
