Passionate about the natural world and exploring as much as I can of it. I live in Cape May County, NJ, with a tuned in obsession for leps and salticids. I also love the ocean and enjoy seawatching for birds and cetaceans.

I work as an insect surveyor/butterfly conservationist for NJDEP Fish & Wildlife, under the Endangered and NonGame Species Program. If you ever see a state-listed insect, or rare species, you can report sightings to https://dep.nj.gov/njfw/conservation/reporting-rare-wildlife-sightings/.

I am also the coordinator of the newly founded South Jersey Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) https://www.nabasjchapter.org and I have been the coordinator/compiler for NABA's Belleplain Butterfly Count over the past three years now. I work part-time doing various invasive plant removal work throughout the year, often associated with local environmental commissions.

During the fall, I work as the Field Coordinator of the Cape May Monarch Monitoring Project under NJ Audubon's, Cape Bird Observatory (CMBO) https://njaudubon.org/monarch-monitoring/. Through CMBO, I have studied migratory butterfly and dragonfly movements over the last four years.
