I'm a conservation biologist in Venus, Florida. I use camera traps to count and monitor wildlife populations as a researcher at Archbold Biological Station. I'm also a member of the Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition, which allows me to go across far-flung parts of the state, documenting habitat connectivity and its threats. I'm mostly working on large wide-ranging mammals, but in my field work I find the most joy and wonder in the little creatures that run the world. I'm formerly of the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, Virginia.
