I am an advocate for big cats (and house cats, too) and aim to raise awareness about the important role they and other carnivores play in maintaining ecological balance, and help cultivate a culture of "ahimsa" — non-violence and compassion for all living creatures.

My job as a communications specialist for the National Park Service gives me an opportunity to promote and protect wilderness habitat and wildlife through writing and the media arts.
