Once I saw a HUGE CROCODILE by my house that turned out to be a baby iguana.
Oh well, this is how much I know about all the things living in Florida. I enjoy being outdoors, though, and actually I'm getting better at recognizing and remembering some of the creatures I encounter. Also, when around people who know even far less than I do, I tend to show off and educate them about the difference between a crocodile and an alligator. Even if they're not interested...
I'm a geographer and a data scientist who works with user generated data a lot. Apart from my love for the outdoor this is is why I find iNaturalist interesting. Planning to dig into the data a bit more once I find the time to do so.
