I am a rank amateur, with no science pedigree to speak of, save my never-ending curiosity and a voracious appetite for knowledge. I don't get to travel much, so I tend to take lots of photos of the same things, but that may change. My current camera is a Nikon Coolpix S30, the most toy-like of all the cameras I have owned. It's quirky, but I have gotten some decent photos with it.
