I work part-time as an environmental educator in Raleigh NC, and full-time mom always trying to get my family & friends out for hikes in the woods. Part of my job is to educate people about citizen science, and introducing people to iNaturalist is probably my favorite part. I especially want to introduce more teenagers to it and have kids use their phones for SCIENCE!!! I love the convenience of using my phone to enter data, but need to get better about using a better camera and downloading to the website : ) I used to do a lot of wetland delineation as part of a former career, and worked in the Great Swamp of NJ- so I have a real fondness for wetlands and the critters and plants that live in them.
