I'm not sure where my hyperfixation on fungi began, but after photographing them whenever I saw them for years I finally decided to learn how to identify them and try out foraging. I am poet pursuing an MFA, so I also write a lot of nature centered poetry. My research fuels my poems.

It also gives me a reason to get out and go for a walk in the woods a few days a week. :)
